This Privacy Policy applies to the tecsemployement.com website and our recruitment process. The English Centre Suppliers S.L. (known hereafter as “TECS”, “we,” or “us”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by TECS when you access the website and related services (including through the websites of our partners), how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. Our privacy policies will be over ridden when the safety and welfare of the children are at stake or if we are required to do so by law. (a) We use the information that we collect to operate and maintain our website, to respond to your questions and concerns, and allow you to apply to work with us. The legal basis for this includes:

(c) For the process of your information to be apply to consider applications to work with us, contract staff, and all labour related activities. The legal basis for this includes:

 

  • Data processing related to labor: Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23.
  • Prevention of Labor Risks: Spanish Law 31/1995, of November 8 of Prevention of Labor Risks.
  • Provision of information to the entities managing the economic benefits of the Social Security in accordance with the General Law of Social Security.
  • Communication of your data when requested by the Labor Inspectorate: Spanish Law 42/1997, of 14 November, regulating the Labor Inspection.
  • Tax obligations of the entity, in accordance with the Spanish General Tax Law.

(d) We also use the information that we collect to help our customers improve their website(s).

(e) In the case that a future employer may request a reference from an employee in the future.

Contact forms

By filling in the contact form with their Data, the User authorizes this Website to use these details to reply to requests for information, quotes or any other kind of request as indicated by the form’s header.

Personal Data collected: Email address, First name, Last name.

Application forms

Whenever a user completes an application form to work with us, we will collect all of the information on that form in order to consider them for a position to work with us. The information contained on application forms can include name, date of birth, email address, email, phone numbers, gender, photograph, nationality, country and city of residence, next of kin details, previous work history, and curriculum vitae.

All of our application forms are created and managed through Zoho Recruit, an applicant tracking software. Thus all information that is inputted by candidates on forms available on the TECS employment website tecsemployment.com are controlled by TECS but processed by Zoho Corporation. For more information on Zoho privacy please visit their privacy statement (https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html) or contact us at employment@tecs.es.

All applicants will automatically be added into our Live Agent account (https://www.ladesk.com/security-privacy-policy/), so that we can efficiently contact them (about organising an interview, answering their questions, etc.) and into our mailchimp account to receive future updates about positions on offer.

 

Contract Accepting Forms

Candidates that are offered a position will be asked to upload certain information. Apart from the information mentioned in the “Application Forms” section we may also request and retain:

  • The information contained in your criminal background check or any information which is derived from third parties to which this documentation is submitted;
  • Copies of your passport, driving licence and/or other identity documents;
  • Dietary and Medical information which can be passed onto our catering services;
  • Copies of your travel to/from camp.

All of our contract acceptance and interview forms are created and managed through Zoho Recruit, an applicant tracking software. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Managing Contacts and Sending Messages

TECS uses Mailchimp to manage a database of email contacts for the purposes of promotional emails. These services may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by the User, as well as when the User interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message. All users can unsubscribe for these emails by clicking unsubscribe on any email or emailing employment@tecs.es. Social Media Widgets

Our Site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and other widgets, that run on our Site. These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the organization providing it.

 

Information and Data Collected While Working with us:

• While working with us we may take photographs and videos taken of you and upload to this or any other TECS website or social media to be used for marketing purposes;
• Any comments made by you about our programmes for publication on the TECS website or for any other marketing purposes;

• Complaints that you make, or relating to complaints that others make that involve you;
• Information that enables us to keep in touch with you as an past staff member of our programmes (you would have the right to opt out of these);

Personally Identifiable Information:

TECS will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others. We may store personal information in locations outside of our direct control (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers).

Any personally identifiable information you elect to make publicly available on our Sites, such as posting comments on our blog page, will be available to others. If you remove information that you have made public on our Sites, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of our Sites, or if other users have copied or saved that information. Our blog is managed by a third party application (WordPress.com) that may require you to register to post a comment. We do not have access or control of the information posted to the blog. Instances Where We Are Required To Share Your Information:

TECS will disclose your information where required to do so by law, if subject to subpoena or other legal proceeding or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to enforce our Terms of Service or to protect the security or integrity of our Service; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of TECS students, families or employees.

In the event of a candidate being contracted, we may send their information to our “gestoria” or lawyers so that they can prepare the required legal documentation and contract.

What Happens In The Event Of A Change Of Control:

We may buy or sell/divest/transfer the company (including any shares in the company), or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Your information such as customer names and email addresses, and other User information related to the TECS service may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. We may also sell, assign or otherwise transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, reorganizations, liquidations, similar transactions or proceedings involving all or a portion of the company. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Testimonials:

We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our Site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at employment@tecs.es.

An individual who is a current or former TECS applicant who seeks access or wishes to correct, amend or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to employment@tecs.es. If we receive a request under this provision, we will acknowledge it within seventy-two (72) business hours and handle it promptly.

We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our customers for as long as needed to provide our services. TECS will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

 

How We Protect Your Information.

TECS is concerned with protecting your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to TECS may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical or managerial safeguards. When you enter sensitive information (such as log in credentials) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

Compromise of Personal Information. In the event that personal information is compromised as a breach of security, TECS will promptly notify our applicants in compliance with applicable law.

 

Children’s Privacy.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, TECS does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 14. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 14, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
